Children’s Museums Response To The Refugee Crisis In Europe
FRida & freD, the Chidren’s Museum in Graz, Austria, is a place for all children. Through their programs, they hope to enable children to learn about the world’s diversity and to better understand its complexities. Along with the contents of their museum, they focus on making sure that the young people who visit the museum develop into confident and responsible citizens who interact carefully with their fellow human beings and their environment.
Jörg was named President of Hands On! In 2016. Hands On! is an international network of museum professionals. The mission of Hands On! is to make all museums and science centres meaningful places for children, to professionalize the (children’s) museum field and to share expertise throughout the field. Hands On! has members from all over the world: (children’s) museums and science centres from Slovenia to Italy, from France to the United States, from Austria to Portugal, the Netherlands and the Philippines.
