We are proud to announce that the Asia Pacific Children’s Museum Conference (APCMC) will be held in Hawaii next year!
This three-day conference will be held on October 19-21, 2016. In addition to a program of very inspiring keynote speakers our host committee is pleased to invite members of the international children’s museum community to share your experiences and ideas with others in the field.
If you are interested in submitting a proposal to present at this conference, we kindly request you to submit your proposal for consideration by March 15, 2016. Your proposal should include a short description of yourself, your organization and the subject of your presentation (minimum 200 words). The subject needs to have a strong connection with our topic “peace” and how we can prepare our children for their role(s) in creating a more peaceful world in their future.
Proposals should include the vision of your organization in relation to the topic of “peace education” and how this is executed at your institution. We would also be interested to learn if your organization works with partners and, if so, please give examples of any successful programs or obstacles that you may have encountered in the implementation of your event or program. Do you have any future plans or something specific that your organization is currently involved with related to the conference topic?
A committee will inform you in April 2016 which proposals have been selected for the conference.
You may address your proposal and any questions to: firstname.lastname@example.org
